No. MaskDM requires zero signups, email addresses, or phone numbers. All connections are completely anonymous and untracked.
Are my messages, photos, or files saved on any database?
No. Everything exists strictly in temporary, volatile server memory during your active countdown. Once the room timer reaches zero or is destroyed, every single byte is permanently erased.
How do self-destruct timers work?
When creating a private room, the creator defines the exact lifetime (from minutes to hours or days). When the countdown ends, the server completely purges the room and disconnects all participants.
How does the bot-blocker gate protect my private rooms?
When you post your room link in public comments on social media (like Facebook), automated web crawler bots attempt to preview the link. Our human-verification gate requires a physical tap to enter, completely preventing bots from taking up slots.
